Getting Started

Q: How do I install the app? Installation is simple. Click the "Start your Free Trial" button on this page to go to our listing on the Zendesk Marketplace. From there, you can install the app into your Zendesk instance with just a few clicks.

Q: Is there any setup required after installation? No, there is no setup required. After installing, you are ready to go!

Q: Does the app store our customer data? No. The app does not save or store any of your customer data. All information remains within your Zendesk instance and is managed by Zendesk's security protocols.

Q: What happens when my free trial ends? At the end of your free trial, you will be prompted to subscribe to a paid plan to continue using the app. If you choose not to subscribe, the app will simply stop working. You will not be charged automatically.

Q: Does the app work with all Zendesk plans? Yes, our app is compatible with all Zendesk plans that allow for the installation of third-party marketplace apps.

Functionality

Q: What information is used to find potential duplicates? The app searches for potential duplicates by matching the requester's phone number, email address, and username.

Q: Does this app merge users automatically? No. The app only suggests potential duplicates to your agents in the sidebar. Your agents always have the final say and must manually confirm every merge to prevent errors.

Q: Can I select the target user to merge into? Yes, you have full control. You can mark one of the duplicate users as the primary (target) user, and all other selected users (including the requester) will be merged into it. You can also select the original requester as the target.

Q: Can any agent merge users? The app respects your Zendesk permissions. Only agents who have the ability to merge users in their Zendesk role will be able to perform the merge action.

Q: What happens to the tickets and data of the merged user? The application uses Zendesk's native merge functionality. When merging, all requested tickets are reassigned to the primary user, unifying the ticket history. It's important to note that as per standard Zendesk behavior, some data from the merged user, like their tags or notes, may be lost in the process.

Q: Is the merge reversible? This is an important one! Merging users in Zendesk is a permanent action and cannot be undone. To prevent mistakes, the app gives your agents full control and will always prompt them to confirm the merge action.

Can I try the app before paying? Yes! All our apps come with a free trial, and no credit card is required to start. You can install the app from the Zendesk Marketplace and try it out with full functionality before committing.

How is the pricing calculated? Our pricing is a flat fee for your entire Zendesk account. You are not charged per agent, so you can have as many agents using the app as you need at no extra cost. You can select a monthly plan or a discounted yearly plan.

Can I cancel my subscription at any time? Yes, you can cancel your subscription through the “Manage Subscription” link inside the app. Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period.

Do you offer refunds? We do not offer refunds. We encourage you to use the free trial (no credit card required) to decide if the app is useful for you before subscribing.

Will uninstalling the app automatically cancel my subscription? No, uninstalling the app will not cancel your active subscription. If you have uninstalled the app before cancelling, please contact us at contact@mosheanisman.com, and we will cancel the subscription for you.
